Carroll spoke Friday at the NFL's annual scouting combine in Indianapolis.
Analysis: Lynch is expected to make $7 million in 2015. But he's been trying to get a long-term deal and is now contemplating retirement. On Thursday, general manager John Schneider said he wouldn't be "shocked" if Lynch did retire. Lynch has been Seattle's offensive workhorse over the past five years. With the 28-year-old running back, the Seahawks have won back-to-back NFC championships and the Super Bowl following the 2013 season.
|Jan. 30 10:11 AM PT11:11 AM MT12:11 PM CT1:11 PM ET18:11 GMT2:11 AM 北京时间11:11 AM MST1:11 PM EST12:11 PM CT22:11 UAE13:11 ET16:11 - The NFL won't decide on any discipline for Lynch until after the Super Bowl, commissioner Roger Goodell said at his Super Bowl news conference Friday.
Analysis: Lynch has kept all his media appearances this week to five minutes or less and hasn't said much. He has also donned hats with logos of his own apparel line, which are not sponsored by the NFL. While Goodell did not comment about what the possible penalty might be, he made clear that Lynch had an obligation to do the interviews.
|Jan. 22 7:55 AM PT8:55 AM MT9:55 AM CT10:55 AM ET15:55 GMT11:55 PM 北京时间8:55 AM MST10:55 AM EST9:55 AM CT19:55 UAE10:55 ET13:55 - The NFL has fined Lynch $20,000 for making an obscene gesture during last Sunday's NFC championship game, a person with knowledge of the fine told The Associated Press on Thursday.
Analysis: The league did not specify what the gesture was in the win over Green Bay. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the fine has not been publicly announced. Most recently, Lynch was fined $11,000 for an inappopriate gesture in Seattle's win over Arizona on Dec. 21.
|Dec. 29 2:39 PM PT3:39 PM MT4:39 PM CT5:39 PM ET22:39 GMT6:39 AM 北京时间3:39 PM MST5:39 PM EST4:39 PM CT2:39 UAE (+1)17:39 ET20:39 - Lynch ran 14 times for 60 yards and a TD in Sunday's win over Seattle.
Analysis: There are question marks regarding Lynch's future, though he proved this year he could still go into "Beast Mode", running for 1,306 yards and a career-high 13 TDs.
|Dec. 22 2:37 PM PT3:37 PM MT4:37 PM CT5:37 PM ET22:37 GMT6:37 AM 北京时间3:37 PM MST5:37 PM EST4:37 PM CT2:37 UAE (+1)17:37 ET20:37 - Lynch missed the first quarter due what the team said was an upset stomach and made the Cardinals' bellies hurt, running for 113 yards and a pair of touchdowns, including a highlight-reel, tackle-breaking 79-yarder that he punctuated by grabbing his crotch as he leaped into the end zone.
Analysis: Lynch was in Beast Mode and he should be in 'Feast Mode' next week at home against the Rams in a revenge game as the Seahawks look to seize the No. 1 seed.
|Dec. 15 1:50 PM PT2:50 PM MT3:50 PM CT4:50 PM ET21:50 GMT5:50 AM 北京时间2:50 PM MST4:50 PM EST3:50 PM CT1:50 UAE (+1)16:50 ET19:50 - Lynch rumbled for 91 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's win over San Francisco.
Analysis: Lynch has 10 rushing TDs, all of which have come at home. If you have other solid options, it wouldn't be crazy to sit Lynch in a tough Week 16 matchup at Arizona.
|Dec. 8 1:02 PM PT2:02 PM MT3:02 PM CT4:02 PM ET21:02 GMT5:02 AM 北京时间2:02 PM MST4:02 PM EST3:02 PM CT1:02 UAE (+1)16:02 ET19:02 - Lynch racked up 113 total yards from scrimmage and found the end zone in Sunday's 24-14 win at Philadelphia.
Analysis: It was a pretty good day for Lynch, who hauled in his fourth TD reception. He's second in the league with 13 total TDs.
|Nov. 28 10:26 AM PT11:26 AM MT12:26 PM CT1:26 PM ET18:26 GMT2:26 AM 北京时间11:26 AM MST1:26 PM EST12:26 PM CT22:26 UAE13:26 ET16:26 - Lynch ran 20 times for 104 yards in Thursday's win in San Francisco.
Analysis: It was his third 100-yard effort in four games, but he's gone three games without a touchdown after scoring six in his previous two.
|Nov. 24 12:14 PM PT1:14 PM MT2:14 PM CT3:14 PM ET20:14 GMT4:14 AM 北京时间1:14 PM MST3:14 PM EST2:14 PM CT0:14 UAE (+1)15:14 ET18:14 - Lynch struggled through an illness Sunday on the way to 39 yards on 15 carries.
Analysis: Lynch, who had run for 264 yards and four scores over his previous two games, isn't in danger of missing Thursday's matchup with San Francisco.
|Nov. 19 1:24 PM PT2:24 PM MT3:24 PM CT4:24 PM ET21:24 GMT5:24 AM 北京时间2:24 PM MST4:24 PM EST3:24 PM CT1:24 UAE (+1)16:24 ET19:24 - The NFL has fined Lynch $50,000 for violations of the league's media policy.
Analysis: League spokesman Michael Signora confirmed the fine Wednesday, which will total $100,000 against the Seahawks' standout. Along with the $50,000 for violating the NFL Media Policy this year, the league is collecting the $50,000 fine that was imposed against Lynch for violations last season. The fine from 2013 was held in anticipation of future cooperation from Lynch.
|Nov. 17 2:12 PM PT3:12 PM MT4:12 PM CT5:12 PM ET22:12 GMT6:12 AM 北京时间3:12 PM MST5:12 PM EST4:12 PM CT2:12 UAE (+1)17:12 ET20:12 - Lynch gained 124 yards on 24 carries in Sunday's loss to Kansas City.
Analysis: He had scored six touchdowns in his previous two games, so the lack of a score was a bit disappointing, yet the workhorse continues to pick up plenty of yardage after some lean weeks in September and October.
|Nov. 14 2:11 PM PT3:11 PM MT4:11 PM CT5:11 PM ET22:11 GMT6:11 AM 北京时间3:11 PM MST5:11 PM EST4:11 PM CT2:11 UAE (+1)17:11 ET20:11 - Lynch is listed as questionable to play Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs. A week after rushing for 140 yards and four touchdowns against the New York Giants, Lynch was held out of practice until Friday with calf and rib injuries.
Analysis: Lynch was a full participant in Friday's practice. Lynch frequently gets one or two days of rest during the week and still typically is in the lineup for games. He's missed just one game due to injury in his five years with the Seahawks.
|Nov. 10 12:41 PM PT1:41 PM MT2:41 PM CT3:41 PM ET20:41 GMT4:41 AM 北京时间1:41 PM MST3:41 PM EST2:41 PM CT0:41 UAE (+1)15:41 ET18:41 - Lynch had a huge day with 140 yards and four touchdowns on 21 carries in a 38-17 win over the Giants on Sunday.
Analysis: It was Lynch's first 100-yard day since Week 1, but he has six touchdowns in his last two games.
|Nov. 3 9:49 AM PT10:49 AM MT11:49 AM CT12:49 PM ET17:49 GMT1:49 AM 北京时间10:49 AM MST12:49 PM EST11:49 AM CT21:49 UAE12:49 ET15:49 - On Sunday versus Oakland, Lynch finished with 143 total yards rushing and receiving and scored two TDs.
Analysis: Lynch had 67 rushing yards and only has one 100-yard game this season.
|Oct. 27 9:37 AM PT10:37 AM MT11:37 AM CT12:37 PM ET16:37 GMT12:37 AM 北京时间9:37 AM MST11:37 AM EST10:37 AM CT20:37 UAE12:37 ET14:37 - Lynch gained 62 yards on 14 carries Sunday versus Carolina.
Analysis: Apparently unhappy in Seattle, Lynch has averaged 62 yards with one running TD in six games since rushing for 110 and two scores on 20 carries in the opening win over Green Bay.
|Oct. 20 12:24 PM PT1:24 PM MT2:24 PM CT3:24 PM ET19:24 GMT3:24 AM 北京时间12:24 PM MST2:24 PM EST2:24 PM CT23:24 UAE15:24 ET17:24 - Lynch ran 18 times for 53 yards against the Rams on Sunday. He added two receptions for 18 yards.
Analysis: Lynch has been held in check two weeks in a row and the Seahawks have started complaining about the officiating. He still should dominate a poor Carolina team next week.
|Oct. 13 11:07 AM PT12:07 PM MT1:07 PM CT2:07 PM ET18:07 GMT2:07 AM 北京时间11:07 AM MST1:07 PM EST1:07 PM CT22:07 UAE14:07 ET17:07 - Lynch ran only 10 times for 61 yards against the Cowboys on Sunday.
Analysis: The Seattle offense was out of sorts Sunday but owners shouldn't be too worried about Lynch's ability to bounce back.
|Oct. 7 1:05 PM PT2:05 PM MT3:05 PM CT4:05 PM ET20:05 GMT4:05 AM 北京时间1:05 PM MST3:05 PM EST3:05 PM CT0:05 UAE (+1)16:05 ET19:05 - Lynch ran for 72 yards on 17 carries despite missing the first series because he needed extra time to loosen some tight muscles. He also caught five passes for 45 yards and a touchdown.
Analysis: What started as an injury scare ended with another solid performance from Lynch. He now has six total touchdowns and more than 400 total yards this season.
|Sep. 22 2:43 PM PT3:43 PM MT4:43 PM CT5:43 PM ET21:43 GMT5:43 AM 北京时间2:43 PM MST4:43 PM EST4:43 PM CT1:43 UAE (+1)17:43 ET20:43 - Lynch ran 26 times for 88 yards and a touchdown while also hauling in three passes for 40 yards and a score.
Analysis: Owners relieved to see Lynch bounce back after he carried the ball just six times for 36 yards a week earlier.
|Sep. 15 1:42 PM PT2:42 PM MT3:42 PM CT4:42 PM ET20:42 GMT4:42 AM 北京时间1:42 PM MST3:42 PM EST3:42 PM CT0:42 UAE (+1)16:42 ET19:42 - Lynch had just six carries for 36 yards in Sunday's loss to San Diego.
Analysis: He salvaged his fantasy day with four catches for 27 yards and a touchdown. The Seahawks trailed for much of the game, and San Diego controlled the clock. He's got a Super Bowl rematch with Denver next week, but he only managed 39 yards on 15 carries in that game.
|Sep. 5 1:29 PM PT2:29 PM MT3:29 PM CT4:29 PM ET20:29 GMT4:29 AM 北京时间1:29 PM MST3:29 PM EST3:29 PM CT0:29 UAE (+1)16:29 ET19:29 - Lynch ran for 110 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carriers in Seattle's Week 1 win over Green Bay on Thursday.
Analysis: Lynch went without a 100-yard game in the final six regular-season contests of 2013 and had just three for the year, so this is a strong start for fantasy owners.
|Aug. 11 10:53 AM PT11:53 AM MT12:53 PM CT1:53 PM ET17:53 GMT1:53 AM 北京时间10:53 AM MST12:53 PM EST12:53 PM CT21:53 UAE13:53 ET16:53 - Police have cleared Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch in an assault and property damage case.
Analysis: The Bellevue Police Department issued a statement late Wednesday night saying Lynch wasn't involved and that the case remained open. The police department expressed appreciation for cooperation from Lynch and the Seahawks. Police initially released a statement Monday mentioning Lynch. The Seahawks released a statement a day later saying they believed the accusations to be "bogus" after speaking with Lynch.
|July 31 12:12 PM PT1:12 PM MT2:12 PM CT3:12 PM ET19:12 GMT3:12 AM 北京时间12:12 PM MST2:12 PM EST2:12 PM CT23:12 UAE15:12 ET18:12 - Lynch's holdout is over, ending one distraction so far for the Super Bowl champions.
Analysis: Lynch arrived at the Seattle Seahawks practice facility on Thursday afternoon following the team's morning practice. The team confirmed Lynch had reported for camp, ending a holdout that spanned a week. Lynch was caught by television cameras talking on his phone out near the Seahawks practice fields wearing a hooded "Beast Mode" sweatshirt and knit cap on an 85 degree day.
|July 25 9:47 PM PT10:47 PM MT11:47 PM CT12:47 AM ET4:47 GMT12:47 PM 北京时间9:47 PM MST11:47 PM EST11:47 PM CT8:47 UAE0:47 ET3:47 - Lynch is not expected to be present for the first day of the Seattle Seahawks' training camp according to close friend and former teammate Michael Robinson.
Analysis: Appearing on NFL Network on Thursday night, Robinson said he spoke with Lynch and Seattle's star running back plans to hold out of the camp that begins Friday. At dispute is Lynch's contract. Lynch can make up to $5.5 million this season in base pay and roster bonuses. It's the third year of a four-year contract Lynch signed with Seattle before the 2012 season.
